An Chih (Angela) Do, RDH, MEd, MAADH is a full time clinical dental hygienist and clinical operations manager at a private pediatric practice in Houston, Texas. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television-Film. In 2015, she graduated from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She went on to get her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction for Health Science Educators from the University of Houston in 2019. She also holds a Standard Proficiency in Diode Laser and is a hands-on laser instructor for Advanced Dental Hygiene.

Angela has received numerous honors and awards such as the ADHA Institute of Oral Health Wilma E. Motley Baccalaureate Scholarship, TDHA Advanced Degree Scholarship, TDHA Future Leader Award, TDHA Outstanding Clinician Award, and a member of Sigma Phi Alpha. She co-founded Dental Hygiene Spark LLC, a social media platform dedicated to empowering dental hygienists.  Angela speaks on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, human trafficking, pediatric dental care, and Asian American dental disparities. She is a member of the ADHA, National Association of Parliamentarians, and the American Academy of Dental Hygiene. She is President of the Greater Houston Dental Hygienists’ Association and Speaker of the House for the Texas Dental Hygienists’ Association. She is also a District IX delegate and appointed for the 2021-2022 IDEA committee for ADHA. Angela lives in Houston, TX with her husband, two sons, and Stitch, her Pomeranian shadow.
